Best Of Lotus Make-Up Indian Fashion Week 2018

Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week 2018 was an affair to remember for reasons aplenty. Though FDCI’s successful ‘Rainbow’ Show celebrating inclusivity was the highlight of the 4-day extravaganza; there several other designers, shows & trends that left a mark.

With Aneeth Arora’s sustainable collection kick-starting the fashion week in Delhi, upcycling was yet again labelled as the new cool. Her label Péro’s philosophy of mending discarded garment with love and a fresh vision surely hit all the right chords and so did her idea of diving deep into the sea to find inspiration and purpose.

Parallelly, FDCI’s attempt to nurture new bonds through fashion by inviting Australian and Japanese designers was another step that went well appreciated by the fashion fraternity. Talking of the glamour quotient, Bollywood bombshells like Sonakshi Sinha, Sushmita Sen, Yami Gautam, Prachi Desai, Tabu & many more stepped into the shoes of showstoppers to set the runway on fire.

Speaking of trends, here is a quick rundown of what we’ll be seeing more in the coming year.

1. Ruffles & Frills

Romantic ruffles and flirty frills with minimal accessories was the key theme for many designers.
