Nartitamayura (hindi for dancing peacocks) depicts traditional Paithani motifs like 'mor' - peacock and 'muniya'- parrot hand drawn and hand woven on the pallu of the saree. These motifs are often seen in old mythological paintings of the Marathi culture and are a favorite of Paithani weavers. The saree features a cream pure silk body embellished with zari bootis a peach zari border and a glossy pallu adorning an intricately woven dancing peacocks two onlooking peacocks and parrots surrounded by flowers. It comes with an unstitched blouse piece. A Marathi bride's trousseau is incomplete without a Paithani saree and it is considered a precious heirloom gem passed on from a mother to her daughter.
